Your Impact

Are you crazy about quality Do you love inspecting material to ensure the right level of quality. Axon is looking for a self-motivated Quality Inspector that is hungry to show their talents in the public safety industry. As Axons Lead Quality Inspector you will be responsible for the inspection of material following Axons inspection plans for raw in-process and outgoing quality.

What Youll Do

Location : Onsite at our Phoenix Pinnacle Peak location

Schedule : Monday through Thursday from 4 : 30pm-3 : 00am PST

Reports to : Quality Control Supervisor

• Manage the workload for a team of 4-6 inspectors on the shift
• Conduct routine and non routine tests and inspections of raw in-process and finished good products services or processes to evaluate quality or performance
• Read and interpret technical data and specifications (2D prints / CAD) to conduct meaningful inspections and tests
• Perform push and pull testing using Mark-10 equipment to qualify parts or gather data for engineering
• Conduct non destructive and destructive testing on raw in-process and finished good material to qualify material or aid in root cause investigations
• Use a wide range of metrology tools (calipers dial indicators micrometers optical comparator etc)
• Interpret test results compare them to established specifications and control limits and make recommendations on product release.
• Maintain laboratory testing and measurement equipment
• Monitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.
• Conduct layered process audits to ensure compliance with Axon 7S standards
• Maintain the QC database by logging transcribing recording data in written or electronic form.
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to recommend the best solution and solve problems
• Effectively Join Forces with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong Own It mentality to work autonomously and manage time effectively
