Compensation Analyst
Compensation Analyst - Temporary Consultant Location : Springfield, MA Pay Rate : $35-43 / hour, based on experience The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, administration, and ongoing evaluation of compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, and leadership to provide data-driven compensation insights. Responsibilities include conducting market pricing and benchmarking analyses using external compensation surveys and tools, supporting pay equity analyses and assisting with remediation planning as needed, performing job evaluations and maintaining job architecture and salary structures, partnering with HR and leadership on compensation-related decisions, including new roles, promotions, and adjustments, analyzing compensation data, trends, and metrics to support workforce planning and budgeting, assisting with annual compensation review processes, including merit and market adjustments, ensuring compensation practices align with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices, maintaining accurate compensation data within HR systems and reporting tools, and preparing reports and presentations for HR leadership and senior management. Requirements include a bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis, proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools, and professional HR certification preferred (e.g., CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP).
