Performs inventory maintenance duties. Applies functional inventory control knowledge to maintain accuracy and performance standards and to support store order needs. Arranges workflow to meet inventory control deliverables.
Maintains the Inventory Control area under general supervision and conducts routine audits on department processes. Communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams. Assists with the collection of feedback from employees across the department to ensure the technical support function is responsive to business needs. Compiles and reconciles discrepancies found with book inventory to ensure products remain in-stock. Maintains invoices, returns, warranty claims, and/or exchanges for the distribution department through an internal electronic system. Collects billing, pricing for service quotes, and cycle counts for domestically and internationally shipped items. Inspects stock items within the distribution department for wear, tear, or defects and reports to supervisors. Communicates with the distribution team on shipments and organizes receipts on a daily basis and updates internal logs. Monitors processes and maintains inventory control records for accuracy and efficiency; determines the root cause of inventory variances. Observes team performance within the distribution department and delivers performance evaluations with feedback with recommendations.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior relevant work experience: 0-1 year. Essential qualifications: Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to work 2nd shift hours, 4pm-12am Monday-Friday.
Anticipated weekly hours: 40. Time type: Full time. Pay range: The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
