divh2Assembler / h2pOperates assembly machines such as tape machines, bag sealer and other hand powered equipment in the assembly of kits. A day in the life includes : pushing buttons, interrupting electrical eyes and / or depressing pedal to activate machine; verifying safety equipment on machine and / or equipment is functional before starting the job; working from operation sheets, prints, written work instructions and / or verbal instructions as necessary; measuring work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operations; assembling and / or sorting work pieces; reporting job operations / activities in SAP; being responsible for the quality of product produced from operations they perform; cleaning work station as required at end of job assignment or shift; and performing other related work as required. / ppWhat will help you thrive in this role : high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience; and the ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. / ppHubbell Incorporated creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
