Job Title: Warehouse Associate 2

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Division: HMC

Department: Parts/Warehouse

Locations: HMC

Position Summary:

Under limited supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate 2 pulls parts and assists customers, as well as performs general warehouse duties. Additionally, this position must be specialized in a higher-level warehouse function and may assist in training the Warehouse Associate 1.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform general warehouse tasks.
2. Provide any needed customer assistance.
3. Fill orders for customers and shop.
4. Stock receipting.
5. Deliver parts.
6. Order packing.
7. General cleaning duties.
8. Assists with warehouse rearrangements.
9. Locates parts.
10. Bin counts.
11. Cycle counts.
12. Truck loading and unloading.
13. Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Area of Responsibility:

1. Shipping and receiving.
2. Hose bench.
3. Customer and shop credits.
4. Remanufactured cores.
5. Will call / cashier.
6. Vouchering invoices.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

1. Must have a valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
2. Must have high school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent experience).
3. Must have understanding of general warehouse duties.
4. Must be able to obtain a valid forklift certificate.

Physical Demands:

1. Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.
2. Handling: Works with hands.
3. Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts. May lift up to 60 lbs. with frequent exertion.
4. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
6. Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
7. Climbing: In and out of equipment.
8. Vision: Reads work tickets and parts books.
9. Talking: Communicates via telecommunications and in person.
10. Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles.

Environmental:

1. Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
2. Temp/Weather: Works in a warehouse and outside with variations of temperature and weather.
3. Exposure: Foul odors, fumes and harsh substances.
