As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, assisting them with essential daily activities such as:

• In-Home Assistance: Support clients with daily tasks like meal preparation, cleaning, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, and basic personal care.

• Companionship: Engage clients in enjoyable activities like games and arts and crafts, and accompany them to appointments and errands.

• Community Building: Foster a safe and positive living environment by effectively communicating with family members and staff regarding any concerns.

Eligibility Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.

• A valid driver's license.

• CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.

• Access to insured and reliable transportation.

• A strong ability to recognize the needs of others and build relationships with diverse individuals.

• Flexibility and a willingness to spend time caring for clients with dignity, patience, and empathy.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including required training.
