General Dentistry openings in Northern California near Merced, CA

• 1 position available – permanent placement.
• Office location is 45 minutes from Merced, CA, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Modesto, CA and 2.5 hours from Sacramento, CA.
• New $8 million-dollar dental office recently built across the street from the hospital. Dental lab being built in Sonora, CA.
• Group has 2 dentists currently and one locums provider. Goal is to have 3 full-time permanent dentists on staff. Will provide two dental assistants for each dentist and clinic has a dental hygienist and is hiring one addition RDH.
• Permanent positions only. No locums available.
• Guaranteed Base salary starting in the $190,000 – $217,000 range. Incentive bonuses for production and quality measures.
• Additional extra hourly pay of $5 per hour for working at this site (frontier stipend).
• Group works with primarily 5 native American tribes in the region.
• Productivity expectation is 13 patient encounters per day. Group pays $25 per patient over 13 if you desire to see more patients.
• General Family dentistry position. No wisdom teeth or molar root canals / extractions.
• Monday – Friday schedule from 8 am – 5 pm. No weekends. One week at a time of on-call, on rotating schedule (every 8-12 weeks). Paid by the call which averages 1-2 / week.
• Group is open to a 4 day per week schedule (will be .8 FTE with pro-rated salary and benefits).
• NextGen EMR
• Group offers primary care services, behavioral health, dental, optometry, chiropractic, and ambulatory services.
• Group covers 100% health, dental and vision for employee. 403B retirement plan with 4% contribution (immediately vested).
• PTO of 15 days per year plus 8 sick days, 12 paid holidays (2 personal holidays) and 5 days of CME with $2,000 budget.  40 total days of PTO.
• Possible $10,000 signing bonus or $10,000 relocation bonus.
• CA dental license and DEA required.
• Credentialing process can be done in 30-60 days. Group is possibly willing to wait for a candidate who is not CA licensed.
