About The Position We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour on-call shifts (7am-7am), including some weekends, and covers a diverse case mix in general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, OB, ortho, bariatric surgery, and urogynecology. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Dec 29, 2025 LOA : 60 days Provider Type Needed : Anesthesiologist Schedule : 24-hour on-call shifts (7am-7am), weekends as needed Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, obstetrics, orthopedics, bariatric surgery, and urogynecology cases Manage care in a setting with approximately 100 deliveries per month, supporting a large midwifery program with a 15% section rate and low epidural rate Participate in weekend coverage as required Ensure patient safety and adhere to clinical best practices Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams as part of an integrated care approach Additional Information NY medical license required Board certification in Anesthesiology required NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required No cardiac, neurosurgery, or thoracic cases Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
