BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SITE DIRECTOR

  • 90 Hour certification needed for licensing requirements- 45 hours growth and
  • development 45 hours school age curriculum

Location : PG County MD Francis Scott Key Elementary School

Pay : $19.50

Hours : AM shift 6 : 45am-8 : 30am PM shift 2 : 15pm-6pm

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn grow and thrive.

    • In this role you will :

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site : schedules ratios staffing and documentation
  • Oversee / facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance documentation and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources attendance and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families school staff and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

    • Requirements :

    Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
  • Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations (see below)

    • Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required :

  • Bachelors Degree (BS / BA in a related field) or Associates Degree (AS / AA in a related field)
  • A 1-year state or nationally recognized credential (related to school-age care)
  • Completion of 20 credits (semester system) or 30 credits (quarter system) of training at a college / university AND at least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
  • 2 or more years of qualifying teaching experience (with at least one year as a teacher) in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
  • 90 Hour certification needed for licensing requirements- 45 hours growth and
  • development 45 hours school age curriculum
