A company is looking for a Clinical Intake & Correspondence Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, research, and take initial action on documentation and requests related to Utilization Management, Care Management, and Disease Management programs
Validate preauthorization requirements and member benefits, documenting information in the appropriate systems
Coordinate case information and facilitate understanding of the preauthorization process for members and providers
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of customer service experience or clinical services experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Intermediate computer skills, including experience with health care systems and documentation
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
