This position involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend coverage required, focusing on direct patient care and coordination within a multidisciplinary cancer team. Job Details Location : Illinois Start Date : Nov 3, 2025 LOA : 36 days Provider Type Needed : Medical Oncologist Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour shifts starting at 7 : 30 AM Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care. Conduct hospital rounds as needed. Collaborate with the in-practice Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for consults, follow-ups, orders, and patient management. Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary cancer team. Provide coverage when the PRN Medical Oncologist is not on-site. Additional Information Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates required. Must possess a valid Illinois medical license. DEA and CSR licenses required. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) necessary. Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is essential.
