Medical Receptionist

Overview

The Women's Imaging Center , a Partner Practice of Together Women's Health , is seeking a Full-time Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Clerk to join our growing team.

The Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Clerk is a Women's Imaging Center ambassador, responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring each patient's encounter with our practice is professional, accurate, and meets the patient's individual needs.

The ideal candidate strongly believes in providing outstanding customer service (on the phone or in person), displays competency in the patient intake process including scheduling appointments, assists in chart preparation, and is comfortable multi-tasking when needed. Knowledge in utilizing Electronic Health Record systems and dependability aid required.

Although you will have one primary workplace - Lakewood - applicants should be willing and able to travel to any of our other locations (Denver, Westminster, and Highlands Ranch) with reliable transportation as The Women's Imaging Center's schedule requires.

Responsibilities

Greeting every patient with compassion

• Accurately completing and updating patients' insurance information
• Verifying insurance eligibility
• Accurately utilizing the Electronic Health Record system
• Completing the check in / out process
• Scheduling appointments for patients and providers
• Walking patients to the clinical area and instructing them on exam preparation
• Protecting patient health information and patient confidentiality at all times
• Following Practice and Billing policies
