Job Description

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Motion Graphics Specialist to join our corporate marketing team in Lenexa, KS to take our animation capabilities to the next level. This talented individual will collaborate closely with our creative team and other stakeholders to enhance video projects with animated content, create original visuals and manipulate existing 2D and 3D design components in visually compelling ways.

• Create captivating original motion graphics for video, web, live events, social media, and more.
• Utilize various software and animation tools to convert two-dimensional designs into motion graphics.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling content.

Requirements

About YOU:

• You have a strong understanding of visual design, storytelling principles, video marketing, communications strategy, and the environments where video messages and materials are consumed.
• You are able and willing to drive both strategy and creative execution.
• You are an organized creative who can pivot between projects while working within a variety of deadline constraints.
• You embrace new technologies and software tools that increase efficiency and elevate design.
• You like to stay current with animation and editing styles and trends on various social and streaming platforms.
• Most of all, you are truly passionate about this stuff!

Basic Requirements:

• At least 2-4 years of professional work experience producing motion graphics and/or 3D projects in various styles.
• Must be able to present a comprehensive demo reel showcasing your motion graphics design capabilities.
• Showcase proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Davinci Fusion.

Minimum Requirements :

• Ability to create original motion graphics from concept to completion, including title animations, logo splashes, lower thirds, callouts, transitions, annotations, explainer videos, promo/hype videos, training/informational videos, communication campaigns, live event and streaming graphics.
• Ability to convert 2D designs into 3D concepts and animations using various software and other animation tools.
• Ability to collaborate with the creative team and contribute innovative ideas to elevate video projects with compelling animated visual content.
• You can build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a Mac OS environment.
• Familiarity with Davinci Resolve or willingness to learn it.
• Proficient in Cinema 4D or comparable 3D design software.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Davinci Fusion.
• Experience within the construction industry.
• Local to the Kansas City metro area.
