Position Summary: Under general supervision the Recovery coach reports to the Director of Recovery Support Services.
The Recovery Coach will provide leadership to establish effective Recovery Support Services. This position helps ensure sustainability of quality recovery support services through data.
and information to measure program and performance outcomes as a result of the services in coordination with DSHS to meet evaluation requirement and responsible for ensuring services to help clients address economic, child care, employment, education, health, housing, transportation, life skills, parenting, recovery, federal, state and local assistance, vocational assistance, GED referrals and family needs, in addition to identified substance abuse and mental health issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required.
One to three months’ with 500 hours and 25 supervised hours of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
Previous experience in recovery and crisis intervention required.
Knowledge of substance use and ethical standards required.
Certificates and Licenses:
Recovery Coach Certification required from Dept of State and Health Services.
