SUMMARY : Responsible for educating nursing staff and managing and delivering quality nursing care; serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization philosophy of care; ensuring the safety and well-being of each patient. Actively serves as a key member of the Nursing Leadership team. $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Salaried, exempt position and covers 1 weekend per month.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Overall responsibility for ensuring programming, milieu management and regulatory compliance of unit(s).
• Maintains a system of communication and reporting between all staff on all shifts, as well as with other departments involved in the ongoing operation of the facility.
• Carries out personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision such as performance management, hiring and onboarding staff.
