[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering EI / EIT or PE Certificate 0-3 years’ experience in the civil engineering field Strong computer skills ExpArerience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or MicroStation a definite plus Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment Excellent Communication Skills Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects Assists in the development of construction cost estimates for various projects Various design tasks and preparation of drawings under the direction of experienced project managers, along with construction inspection and oversight Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services Assists in design components of various projects Provides information to Project Manager or Project Engineer for incorporation into specifications Researches design options and presents options to Project Manager or Project Engineer May serve as onsite project representative Additional duties as assigned Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle
