Essential Requirements: The position of Summer Camp Educator requires a person who enjoys working with children and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about outdoor education and teamwork.
- No history of child abuse or negligence.
- Regular and dependable in-person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.
- Successfully pass required background checks.
Essential Responsibilities: - Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.
- Collaborate with the Summer Camp Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging and educational summer camp programs for children.
- Facilitate hands-on activities and experiences related to animals, agriculture, nature, and outdoor education.
- Supervise and engage with campers during activities to ensure safety, learning, and fun.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up program areas, supplies, and materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the Summer Camp Coordinator and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide a positive and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
