As a Contract Logistics Warehouse Team Lead at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. Our Ontario location is looking for a new Warehouse Team Lead to join our Contract Logistics team. The Warehouse Team Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and monitoring warehouse activities daily. Under the direction of Contract Logistics Site Supervisors, you will effectively motivate others to work hard, meet company goals, and foster a healthy collaborative work environment. You will be responsible for supporting the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Oversee all daily department activities and ensure all processes are followed accurately. Ensure employees are assigned daily tasks to meet department objectives. Track and log production units and labor on Hourly Production Board and department Daily log. Ensure all email correspondence are responded to in a timely manner. Process and maintain client products accurately to ensure products are accounted for from Inbound to Outbound. Ensure all material / product movements are audited and transferred timely and accurately. Ensure Logistic Tickets are completed for all PO's that have discrepancies. Ensure all POs are received complete and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies. Assist employees as needed to complete daily objectives. Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation. Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Verify all housekeeping logs and 5S are completed and up to date. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards. Adhere to Kuehne + Nagels Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program policies and procedures.

What we would like you to bring :

1 year of experience in a Warehousing Reverse / Return function.

1 year of experience in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment.

Must have experience utilizing SAP / Infolog software.

Must have experience Microsoft Excel, Outlook.

The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency toward 5S in the workplace.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
