About The Position

Rate : $3800 - $4000 (24 hr On call)

📍 Location : Bardstown, KY (Rural Community Hospital)

📅 Dates Needed : July : 28, 29

August : 27, 28

October : 29–31

December : Additional dates TBD

💼 Position Type : 1099 Locum Tenens – Inpatient

🕒 Call Rate :

$4,600 / 24hr (inclusive of all callback hours)

$6,900 / 24hr Holiday Call Rate

Position Overview :

Inpatient OBGYN coverage for scheduled and emergent needs

Call Coverage : 24-hour call, includes patient management and delivery services

Support Staff : RNs on Labor & Delivery

Estimated Deliveries : ~30 / month

EMR : Epic

Scope of Practice :

Rounding and management of laboring patients

Antepartum triage and treatment

Responding to ER consults

Required Procedures :

Vaginal Deliveries

C-sections

Management of maternal HTN & hemorrhage

D&C

Ablations

Hysterectomies & urgent gynecologic surgeries

Candidate Requirements :

✅ Board Certified in OBGYN

✅ Active Kentucky Medical License

✅ ACLS & DEA – Required

✅ Clean malpractice history – Highly preferred

✅ Availability at name clear – Required

Additional Details :

Setting : Rural inpatient facility, no midwives

Travel : Local candidates preferred; air travel not expected

Credentialing Timeframe : 60–90 days

Reason for Coverage : Provider resignation
