• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, offering clear and compassionate explanations
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-notch diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program

Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
