UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health - Advanced Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiology Faculty

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health, are seeking full-time Cardiology faculty with Advanced Heart Failure interest at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The UCSF Fresno Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, has an accredited 3-year fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Disease and 1-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, and 1-year non-accredited Advanced Imaging Fellowship.

• Schedule : Monday-Friday. Mix of outpatient clinic / echo lab / cath lab. Low Weekend Call Burden (10 weekend calls / year).
• Patient workload : 16-20 patients / day in clinic; All Inpatient work supported by fellows / residents / NP.
• Academic / Clinical Engagement : Opportunities for teaching, research and leadership available.

Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and preferably board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. They should have competency in Left Ventricular Assist Device and California licensed or eligible to obtain a California medical license. The successful candidate must have excellent clinical and procedural skills and preferably have completed an additional Advanced Heart Failure / Transplant Fellowship. They should be willing to actively participate in medical education and have experience and interest in clinical medicine. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicants\' background and accomplishments.

The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization : Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position : $400,000-$600,000.
