[job_card.job_description]Point of contact for Financial Systems Assist in creating and maintaining UAT (user acceptance testing) for Financial Systems projects Ability to manage all aspects of a mini project to small projects Compile and keep all documentation related to the Financial Systems usage and functionality. Coordinate and respond to audit requests from both the internal and external audit teams. Set up new users and modifying access rights Manage scheduled loads and mappings Troubleshoot data kickouts and errors Update input forms and business logic Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent degree with experience. 2-5 years Financial Systems management experience (maintenance and development) in a real estate environment preferred. The equivalent years of experience in an accounting role will also be considered. Basic working knowledge of accounting concepts. required. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of accounting concepts preferred REIT, other real estate or Investment / Asset Management experience preferred Familiarity with any of the following software applications is desirable : Yardi, Longview, Vena, Nexus, Passport, or Concur Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals is desirable Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and working with database scripts and stored procedures in an MS-SQL Server environment is a plus IT-related certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM a plus. Finance-related certifications like CPA, CFA a plus.
Job Description :
The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Financial Systems (Yardi, Nexus, Longview, etc.). The individual will work within a group environment to develop, maintain, monitor, and enhance the performance and functionality of Ventas financial systems to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
Financial Systems Support
- Provide user service and support in assigned financial systems
- Assist users in troubleshooting issues with system integrations and accounting reconciliations
- Perform stabilization, break / fix, and other maintenance activities (including system upgrades)
- Work with the business to develop and capture requirements and design specifications for system enhancements
- Develop, test, and implement system enhancements
- Develop and document test plans, policies, standards, procedures, and checklists
- Assess, design, and provide application training
- Identify, recommend, and implement application solutions and improvements
Project Management
IT Audit Documentation and Compliance Management
General system administration and management activities
