Credit Analyst II

Summary :

Responsible for analyzing commercial / business loans. Utilize and maintain Regent Bank's system to spread and analyze borrower's financial statements. Assist Commercial Officers in supporting existing relationships and reviewing new business loan offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare financial reports used by the commercial banking department.
• Prepare summary reports, present facts, offer recommendations, and assess risk associated with the commercial loan.
• Offer recommendations based on analysis concerning creditworthiness and the ability of the customer to repay loans.
• Collaborates with commercial officers and customers in preparing credit memorandums, modification requests, annual reviews, compliance certificates, etc.
• Prepares forecast reports to manage expectations and assist in determining how responsible industries will perform during the next fiscal year.
• Responsible for alerting senior management to potential issues that arise through required analytical research.
• Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly Board Reports for the lending department.
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and other applicable programs. This includes up-to-date compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls.
• Responsible for reporting any known violation of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and reporting any suspicious customer and / or account activity.
• Assist other credit analysts in daily duties to ensure proper support of the Commercial Credit Manager.
