Teacher Assistant - Fairport, New York

A full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated teaching assistant to support student learning within a K-12 educational setting in Fairport, NY. This role involves working closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to facilitate various communication support activities, including assistance with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices. The position is offered as a full-semester contract.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the SLP by following their lead in facilitating communication sessions.
• Support students in using AAC devices to enhance their communication skills.
• Extend assistance across multiple settings as needed, adapting to diverse learning environments.
