$328,500 - $445,591 a year

Description

The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a new faculty member with interest in General Gastroenterology. Candidates with a special interest and/or expertise in general endoscopy and digestive health are welcome to apply. The division is the region's leading tertiary/quaternary level academic GI & hepatology practice with an excellent national reputation, including "high-performing status granted by US News and World Report.

The Division enjoys a large robust regional referral practice in gastroenterology sub-specialties with investments in industry-leading endoscopic technology and excellent facilities, support and infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care and teaching. Various clinical research opportunities are available through a well-staffed clinical trials section within the division.

Qualifications

M.D. Degree or equivalent

Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Eligible for Board Certification in Gastroenterology and Hepatology

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
