Inpatient Psychiatry Physician (Locum Tenens) – Martinez, CA

Opportunity Type : Locums

Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry (IP)

Location : Martinez, California

We are seeking an Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to provide locum tenens coverage at a leading regional medical center in Northern California. This is a well-supported, team-based environment ideal for physicians who enjoy structured acute psychiatric care.

Position Highlights

  • Two inpatient units (4C & 4D)
  • Total Beds : 43 acute psychiatric beds
  • Unit 4C Census : ~23 patients
  • Unit 4D Census : ~20 patients
  • Population : Adults (18+)
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Support Team Includes :
  • Clerks
  • Utilization Review Nurses
  • Social Workers
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physicians & Multidisciplinary Staff

Schedule

  • Seven (7) shifts per month
  • 1 week on / 3 weeks off rotation
  • 16-hour shifts
  • Monday–Sunday
  • Shift Hours : 7 : 00 a.m. – 11 : 00 p.m.
  • Next Available Block : February 2nd – 8th

    • Compensation

  • Max Pay Rate to Provider : $250 / hr

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active and unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
