The Maintenance Installation Business Developer is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for small scale landscape construction services and installation projects. This role requires a strong balance of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base, increase revenue, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience) 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management or related service industries Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting
Physical Demands / Requirements
Regular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities Office-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Work Environment
Works in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations Requires occasional evening and / or weekend networking events or meetings

Compensation Pay Range : 65,000 - 80,000 BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members. Benefits offerings for full-time team members include medical, dental, and vision insurance, ancillary and voluntary products, a 401k savings plan with employer contributions, and 6 to 9 company paid holidays per year.
