Job Title : Mid to Senior Level Software Engineer

Your Role : You are a problem solver who turns complex challenges into elegant solutions. As a Mid to Senior Level Software Engineer for our project at NIWC PAC, you will operate in a high-stakes environment where your skills are tested, your ideas are valued, and your contributions drive the rapid development of cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Innovate & Build : Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, including rapid prototyping and technology deployment to address urgent needs.
- Collaborate & Create : Partner with engineers, project managers, and end-users to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize & Solve : Implement algorithms and data structures to meet high performance and reliability standards.
- Review & Improve : Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and follow best practices to maintain quality.
- Troubleshoot & Innovate : Debug issues and provide timely resolutions to keep solutions running smoothly.
- Document & Evolve : Maintain comprehensive development documentation and stay updated with new technologies to enhance capabilities.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required for this positionDepartment of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance, or eligible to obtain oneEducation : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldSkills : Strong grasp of Agile and DevOps methodologies, experience with Git (revision control) and issue tracking systems (such as GitLab and Jira), and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
