Patient Care Technician
Responsible for providing essential support to patients and nursing staff in a hospital setting. This role ensures the provision of high-quality patient care, focusing primarily on assisting medical staff, monitoring patient health, and managing patient information. This role also enhances patient satisfaction through effective communication skills, care coordination, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient well-being.

Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
Licenses and credentials : Nursing Assistant [Certified Patient Care Technician] - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required.
Experience : Experience with patient care or medical assisting in a hospital or healthcare setting. 1-2 years required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities : Strong ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered care with respect for patients' dignity and privacy. Ability to accurately monitor and document patient information and report any changes or concerns promptly. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving patients, and standing for extended periods. Collaborative mindset to work efficiently with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Ability to respond to patient needs and concerns with resourcefulness and initiative.
