AP Specialist

About the Company and Opportunity :

  • CFS is working with a local non-profit looking for an AP Specialist to join their accounting team
  • The AP Specialist pays invoices in a timely manner and is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable

Overview of the role :

  • Responsible for full cycle AP including matching invoices to POs and coding to the correct cost center
  • Create, edit, and post check batches
  • Enter payable invoices into Microsoft Dynamics ERP system
  • Process check requests, expense reports, and service contract invoices for payment
  • Resolve missing payments, credit, and misapplied payments with vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 4+ years' of Accounts Payable experience
  • ERP system experience, experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
