A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize application security tools such as DAST, SAST, and SCA for vulnerability assessment
Implement container security measures and deploy scanning tools effectively
Consult with development teams to optimize security configurations and troubleshoot issues
Required Qualifications
Experience with application security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Checkmarx, Black Duck)
Hands-on experience with container security and related scanning tools
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
Ability to triage vulnerabilities and prioritize risks effectively
