Requirements

  • Proficient in .Net object-oriented design (VB and / or C#)
  • Knowledge of .Net 4+ and Microsoft technology
  • Knowledge of ASP.Net Web Forms, MVC or Web API, and willing to work in any of these
  • Experienced with stored procedures in MS SQL Server
  • Ability to work on team or solo projects, as needed
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  • Experience with incremental development, short development cycles

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years development experience

    • Bonus

  • Familiarity with Agile / Lean / Extreme programming concepts
  • Familiarity with ColdFusion
  • Familiarity with SSRS, SSIS

    • Relocation to Memphis, Tennessee is not a requirement.

    Small development team (6) that is friendly and always willing to help. Most have been here over 5 years. No mass layoffs. Ever.

  • Loves to program and solve problems. Very comfortable with TSQL involving many tables, temp tables, updates, etc - not just simple select statements.
  • Works well with others.
  • Strong communicator who can easily understand and be understood in spoken and written English.
  • Productive within short, incremental development cycles.
  • Tests own work thoroughly.
  • Asks lots of questions.
  • Believes that a good musician never blames the instrument.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

    • The ideal candidate has worked for these companies

  • Small enough to be depended on and missed if you left and with a strong dependence on database work. Required to be somewhat of a jack of all trades.
