The Remote Typist / Records Clerk provides accurate and efficient administrative support to Anytime Fitness clubs by preparing maintaining and organizing digital and written records. This role is responsible for typing correspondence reports and forms as well as maintaining accurate databases and records for members staff and operational activities.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented possesses excellent typing and data management skills and can manage confidential information with discretion while working independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Typing & Documentation
Type proofread and format a variety of documents including reports forms meeting notes correspondence and contracts.
Ensure accuracy consistency and proper formatting of all documents in alignment with Anytime Fitness brand and policy standards.
Transcribe audio recordings or handwritten notes from club staff or management when required.
Prepare digital forms and templates for administrative use.
Records Management
Maintain organized digital filing systems for membership employee and operational records.
Enter and update data in club management software (e.g. Club OS Mindbody or internal CRM tools).
Track and manage expiration dates for contracts certifications and licenses.
Retrieve scan and upload documentation as needed for audits reports or compliance reviews.
Ensure all records are stored securely and in accordance with data protection and privacy regulations.
Administrative Support
Assist managers and administrative teams with preparing reports data summaries and forms.
Communicate with club staff remotely to verify or correct documentation and data entries.
Support compliance efforts by maintaining accurate and up-to-date files.
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree in business administration office management or related field preferred.
12 years of administrative records management or typing experience (remote experience preferred).
Prior experience in a fitness hospitality or service industry environment is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong typing and transcription skills (minimum 5060 WPM recommended).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Workspace and file management systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
