Position : Pediatrics Physical Therapist

Location : Newark, Delaware 19713

Job Type : Full time, On-site

Overview :

A pediatric skilled nursing facility, seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide individualized care for medically fragile children in a supportive, home-like environment without billing pressures.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate and treat children with mobility, neuromuscular, and gross motor disorders

Manage and recommend specialized rehabilitation equipment (wheelchairs, gait trainers, orthoses)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, families, and vendors for optimal patient outcomes

Educate caregivers and supervise PTAs / therapy aides

Complete documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications :

Master s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Active (or eligible) Delaware PT license

Minimum 1-year pediatric experience preferred; experience with medically fragile care highly valued
