⚙️ Job Responsibilities :

First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy / lung resection procedures.

Perform vein harvesting and chest tube placements .

Manage ICU and telemetry patient care .

Participate in inpatient rounds, procedures, and call coverage .

Provide weekend coverage ( 1–2 call days per week, 1 weekend per month ).

Requirements

🎓 Qualifications :

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active KY license (or eligibility to obtain).

ACLS & BLS certifications required.

2+ years of cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred.

Clean malpractice record preferred.

Must be skilled in first-assisting during cardiac and thoracic procedures .

🕒 Working Hours :

1–2 call days per week

One weekend per month (7 AM Friday – 7 AM Monday)

Start Date : As soon as credentialed
