POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is a strategic individual and cross?functional contributor who partners closely with the Chief of Staff and Executive Leadership Team to drive execution of company priorities. This role is responsible for managing high?impact initiatives, coordinating cross?functional efforts, and ensuring alignment, accountability, and follow?through across strategic projects and initiatives. The Project Manager operates as an extension of the Chief of Staff, enabling the executive team to focus on strategy while ensuring plans are translated into action.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a variety of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Translate leadership priorities into structured project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and owners.
- Track progress, dependencies, and risks; proactively escalating issues and recommending solutions.
- Ensure commitments made by executives and leaders are tracked and completed.
- Partner with the Chief of Staff to operationalize executive and co?founder priorities.
- Support preparation for executive meetings, offsites, and key decision forums.
- Synthesize complex information into clear briefs, updates, and action plans for leadership.
CROSS?FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
Partner with leaders across departments to advance shared initiatives.Facilitate alignment on scope, expectations, deadlines, and outcomes.Drive progress and accountability without direct authority over teams.PLANNING & EXECUTION SUPPORT
Support preparation and follow?up for executive meetings, planning sessions, and offsites.Create project updates, dashboards, status reports and summaries for leadership visibility.Maintain clarity around priorities as new initiatives emerge.Be willing to roll up your sleeves and provide active execution support to teams.PROCESS & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Establish simple, repeatable project management practices to improve execution.Improve visibility into timelines, risks, and deliverables across leadership initiatives.Facilitate transparent communication between Project Team(s) and leadership.Support continuous improvement of how executive projects are planned and delivered.PROGRAM & INITIATIVE MANAGEMENT
Ability to drive execution of strategic initiatives sponsored by the executive team with no or limited oversight.Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.Track progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve roadblocks.Ensure commitments made by leadership are followed through and completed.OPERational EXCELLENCE
Establish lightweight processes to improve execution, visibility, and accountability.Monitor key deliverables and surface insights, trends, and risks to the Chief of Staff.Support continuous improvement of executive operating rhythms.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
5+ years of experience in project management, strategy, operations, or similar roles.Bachelors Degree in Business, Business Management, Operations, or related field.Certifications in project management (i.e. PMP), agile methodologies (SAFe).Experienced with Slack, Google Suite, Monday, Microsoft Office tools.Proven experience managing complex, cross?functional initiatives.Exceptional organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.Curiosity about learning the industry and organization.Willingness to roll up sleeves to provide active project execution support.Ability to work with senior leaders and handle sensitive information with discretion.Strong judgment, attention to detail, and bias toward action and initiative.Experience working closely with executive leadership or founders.Background in fast?growing or highly dynamic environments.Advanced written communication and executive presentation skills.SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
