Job Summary

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) - Atlanta Area School for the Deaf located in Clarkston, GA, is recruiting for a Aud / Speech Language Pathologist 1 who will serve for students who are deaf and hard-of-hearing. Under general supervision the Aud / Speech Language Pathologist 1 will report to the School- Level Superintendent. Duties include but are not limited to :

• Provide speech-language therapy services, including developing and implementing objectives on students’ Individual Education Plans
• Assessment
• Therapy service provision within the classroom as well as therapy room, and provision of written documentation regarding student progress quarterly and annually
• Responsible for assessment and treatment of speech, language and communication, voice, fluency and other related disorders.

Doctorate or Master's degree in speech-language pathology or audiology, or both, from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia licensure and / or certification to practice in the area of assignment.
