Job
Member of the Payroll team that will ensure
accurate processing and recording of companys payroll, provide timely and
accurate financial information, participate in data entry Payroll processing.
Essential Functions :
Perform
daily payroll department operations
Manage
workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and
timely
Reconcile
payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
Audit
and verify incoming payroll data
Execute
time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
Process
manual checks when needed
Respond
to employee inquiries regarding payroll
Provide
support to employees concerning wage requests, wage verifications and W-2s
Additional Responsibilities :
Performs
other duties as assigned or requested.
Conforms
to all applicable Agency policies and procedures.
Participates
actively in continuing education and in-services.
Maintains
confidentiality of patient information and business trade practices
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Working knowledge of payroll best
practices
Strong knowledge of federal and state
regulations
Ability
to handle sensitive and confidential material.
Ability
to communicate with various levels of management.
Outstanding
customer service skills.
Experience
working with current, automated software.
Excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible
work schedule to accommodate overtime when need especially during holiday
periods.
Good
data entry skills, 10-key by touch.

Minimum Position Qualifications :
Education : High
School Diploma or equivalent
Experience :
years of experience processing multi-state payroll
License / Certification :
Drivers license and proof of current auto
liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing
FPC preferred, not required.
Environmental Conditions :
Works under a variety
of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule,
tasks may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens; moderate stress and
emotional demands.
Physical Requirements : Sitting is required.
Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous
manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and
agency needs. Ability to travel both via car or plane.
