Job Description
ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an experienced nocturnist PRN acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
Acute care certified NP or experienced PA
At least 12 months experience in Cardiology/CV Surgical ICU preferred
APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, and management of mechanical ventilation. Comfortable running Cardiac Arrest Code. Intubation experience a plus but not required
Ability to work PRN, 4-6 shifts per month
Nights only
12-hour shifts covering a 12-bed medical ICU and 22- bed CVICU
2 MDs (6am to 6pm); 1 MD and 1 APP (6 pm to 6 am)
Busy program with high acuity patient population
