Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will :

• Work with Data Product Teams to understand Data and Analytics use cases to understand and design technical solutions for metadata management, catalog, search and impact to overall Data Management capabilities;
• Design and development of Unified Data Platform using full stack of technologies like Nodejs / NextJS, Java / Spring Boot, REACT, Redux, HTML and CSS in Cloud Infrastructure with API-first approach;
• Evaluate, Design and implement solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of Unified Data Platform;
• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to understand their needs and problems for Data use cases to design / implement scalable solutions leveraging best Engineering practices;
• Follow Agile Scrum practices for Application development and be updated with latest trends in Data & AI space to incorporate best practices in Unified Data Platform;
• Leverage AI / ML and GenAI capabilities to automate Metadata Management and Data Marketplace features to enable higher efficiencies for Data Producers and Consumers.
