Required :

Programming Languages : Javascript, (ES6), TypeScript (For Angular)

Web Tech Skills : Node.JS, Angular 10+, HTML5, CSS3

Cloud Experience : AWS; Containers (Docker), Linux

Tools and Software : JIRA, Wordpress, NPM

Job Experience : Full stack developer (front-end developer, primarily, some back-end and middleware) and full life cycle (design, develop, deploy and support), APIs and Service Integration

Preferred :

Other : React, Vue, SCSS, Yaml, Unit Testing (mocha), ESLint

Database Technology : PostgreSQL or MongoDB

Tools and Software : Git, JIRA, Elastic Search, Kubernetes, Docker, Responsive Design, Wordpress Plug-in

Software Engineering : Asynchronous, Functional Programming, OOP, Data Modeling, Interaction Diagram, CI / CD Knowledge

Position Scope :

Develop interfaces into existing systems that provide a user friendly and streamlined workflow.

Use an agile-based, hybrid, project management approach.

Assist in prototyping new software (either trial software, open source software and / or different use cases for existing software).

Rapidly integrate new and existing software systems to provide demonstrable proofs of concept.

Support other team members in demonstrating integration capabilities and possibilities with application prototypes.

Other Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 3 or more years experience or 5+ years equivalent relevant education / experience.

Interest in supporting impactful applications in “earth-focused” programs (Earth Science, Transportation, Hazards, Energy, Health).

Ability to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment.

Ability to work multiple, time-sensitive tasks.

Ability to work as part of an integrated team, as well as independently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Able to pass basic NACI, background, drug and reference checks and possible security clearance.

No Relocation Assistance, must be local to the Denver, CO area.
