Job Title : Psychiatrist

Location : Hartford, Connecticut (Opportunities in Waterbury, Hartford, and Bristol)

Position Type : Full-Time & Part-Time Available Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified (or board-eligible) Psychiatrist to join our mental health team in Hartford, CT. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing an excellent work-life balance while delivering high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive clinical setting.

  • Educational Background : MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Licensure : Active physician license in the State of Connecticut
  • Certification : Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • DEA Registration : Active DEA controlled substance registration and an active Connecticut controlled substance registration
  • Clinical Skills :

    • Expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders using evidence-based practices

  • Ability to triage clinical emergencies and implement safety protocols
  • Knowledge of referral processes and community mental health resources
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Regulatory Compliance :

    • Adherence to confidentiality guidelines and reporting requirements for child abuse / neglect

  • Compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards
