They will ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. The Benefits Analyst will also research, analyze, and evaluate our plans and programs. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHEs Mission, Vision, and Values. / ph3Essential Functions / h3pstrongDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : / strong / pulliResearches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers the KeHE Total Rewards program, with a concentration in Health and Welfare plans. / liliMonitors benefit trends in the business environment and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation. / liliMaintains and manages relationships with insurance carriers, benefits brokers, and third-party benefits vendors to ensure quality and efficiency of delivery of our benefit programs. / liliReviews, processes, and manages benefits related inquiries received through the KeHE Central ticketing system. / liliReviews and researches discrepancy reports provided by vendors or internal partners, processing necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and data integrity. / liliCreates and maintains processes and procedures to be compliant with state, federal, and IRS regulations. / liliCreates and updates SOPs as they pertain to internal processes. / liliWorks with the communications team in the development of benefits communications. / liliProvides exceptional service and support to internal and external customers. / liliMaintains safeguards of confidential company information. / liliOther duties and projects as assigned. / li / ulpstrongSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES : / strong / pulliProficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT) and experience using Excel spreadsheets to analyze data or similar software. / liliMust have strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. / liliComfortable communicating and working with all levels of management. / liliCapable of understanding complex plan documents and contracts. / li / ulh3Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude / h3pstrongEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : / strong / pulliBachelors degree strongly preferred. / liliMinimum of two (2) years experience in Benefits plan administration. / liliExperience with Businessolver and / or Dayforce preferred. / liliAuditing and filing 5500 experience preferred. / li / ulpstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : / strong / pulliThese physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
