Sentara is hiring a Speech Pathologist in Hampton, Virginia.

This is a Part-Time Day shift opportunity with great benefits.

We have opportunities for therapists to work in multiple settings to include : Acute Care, Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient Therapy (55 locations : orthopedics, neurological and pediatrics), Home Care and PACE.

  • As a Speech Pathologist , you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

    Qualifications :

  • Certified by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) when meets eligibility requirements.
  • A Master's level degree (Speech Pathology) is required
  • 1 year of experience is required for Resource Pool applicants.
