Position Summary : The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in supporting and advancing the cloud and on-prem based infrastructure. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Software Development, Engineering, and Networking—to design, implement, and enhance scalable and secure solutions aligned with industry best practices. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in cloud-hosted platforms, infrastructure automation, continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines, and observability. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to influence decisions, create clear documentation, and foster a collaborative culture. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support evolving mission objectives and stakeholder needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, developer-centric infrastructure to support dynamic and continuous software development workflows
• Deploy software and tooling using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
• Integrate DevOps / Cybersecurity tools, services, and best practices into the existing infrastructure on AWS using Terraform to improve automation, security, and reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and presentations to support integration efforts and knowledge transfer across teams.
• Contribute to the enhancement and automation of current DevOps / Cybersecurity procedures by recommending and implementing innovative tools and approaches for pipelines and automation.
• Perform development and administrative tasks in a Linux-based environment, ensuring robust system administration
• Deploy and maintain virtualized environments
• Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as Datadog to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Manage software and deployment versioning to ensure consistent and reliable releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software, systems, and safety—to define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables.
• Perform other duties assigned to support mission-critical objectives and team priorities.
