Asset Management Analyst

ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Duties and Responsibilities

Will report to the COO

Analyze past and current operational & financial data and performance

Responsible for preparing reports and projections based on analysis

Evaluate current capital expenditures

Identifying trends in operating & financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement

Coordinating with other members of the team to review information and problem solve

Financial models and forecasting

Explore investment opportunities (preliminary modelling & due diligence, presentations, etc.)

Assist with due diligence of new acquisitions, financial planning, reporting, analysis and projections

Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills set:

Proficient with Excel

Must understand P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow individually, and how they interact together

Analytical and financial modeling skills

Strategic thinking

Presentation skills (PowerPoint)

Excellent time management and organizational ability

Strong written communication skills

Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines

Ability to travel frequently

Proficient with Yardi property management software
