A company is looking for a Claims Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze claimant's medical conditions and policy provisions to determine eligibility for disability benefits
Make disability decisions and issue benefits for low liability and short duration claims
Provide administrative support and maintain accurate records for disability claims management
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws affecting claims and benefits
Ability to use automated claim systems and other computer applications
Experience with office equipment, including word processors and personal computers
