Medicaid COBOL Developer

A company is looking for a Cobol Developer with Medicaid experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Client ACES project, focusing on Medicaid and eligibility systems

Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs and CICS transactions

Optimize DB2 queries and stored procedures to ensure system performance

Required Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in COBOL coding, debugging, and performance optimization (8+ years)

Prior experience supporting a State Medicaid / Eligibility project

Strong knowledge of CICS online transaction processing and system integration

Advanced skills in DB2 database development and query optimization

Extensive experience developing and maintaining JCL scripts for batch jobs
