IT Analyst- Mac support

Work Location : onsite Ann Arbor MI

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior IT Desktop Engineer with deep expertise in Apple / Mac environments to lead and architect our enterprise Mac strategy. This is a hands-on role focused on Level 2 3 escalations scripting and JAMF administration while also setting standards and best practices for the team. You will be the go-to expert for complex issues and play a key role in shaping our Mac infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the architect and lead for Mac systems within corporate IT.
  • Handle escalated Level 2 3 tickets and provide guidance to Level 1 support.
  • Develop runbooks triage documentation and troubleshooting guides.
  • Manage corporate patching for macOS and third-party packages.
  • Administer and optimize JAMF Cloud (including Installomator and JAMF Connect).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in a technical fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure professional communication and adherence to corporate IT standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Focus on mostly MAC support not windows

  • Mac Expertise : 80% of work focused on Apple devices.
  • JAMF Administration :

    • JAMF Cloud experience

  • Apple DEP
  • JAMF certifications (200 / 300 preferred; 400 is a plus)
  • Scripting : Unix / Linux (Bash Python)
  • Networking Fundamentals : TCP / IP OSI model troubleshooting
  • SysAdmin Skills : Enterprise-level Mac administration
  • Familiarity with Okta (Identity Management) and ServiceNow (ticketing system).

    • System Administrator Apple PC -Mac Level 3

    Jamf Cloud Jamf Connect AppleTech support

    UNIX scripting exp. Bash Python Scripting experience

    Networking TCIP OSI model understanding

    Okta single sign on
