This job can be described as :

Performs a wide variety of administrative, liaison, coordination and support services for a specific function or department. Prepares narrative and statistical reports. Investigates problem areas, as well as improvement areas, determining method of research, appropriate data requirements, as well as analysis techniques. Interfaces with senior management, cross functional organizations and internal / external customers. Undertakes various functional projects as required. Tracks status of staff action items. Provides standard office support.

Job Model : On-Site

All fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.

Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.

On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.

A typical day at work would include :

  • Investigate assigned problems determining method, data and information requirements, as well as analysis.
  • Develop and streamline administrative processes in functional areas.
  • Develop and maintain database(s) and spreadsheets for tracking function-specific statistics.
  • Interaction with members of management and other internal and external customers regarding coordination and general dissemination of information, etc.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support function including telephone support, ordering and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, collection of data, preparing reports and presentation materials, etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings by arranging for the date, room, presentation materials, meals, transportation, etc.
  • Works under only general direction; ability to work independently.
  • Interacts with both internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Enter and review customer purchase orders received.
  • Use ERP system to get pricing for verbal and written price quotations / enter price quotes in system.
  • Handle general inquiries using ERP and CRM system, stock checks, expedite orders.
  • Monitor cases to scrub in CRM.
  • Respond to customers to answer basic needs and telephone inquiries.
  • Sales telephone support.
  • Assist with other office and support tasks as requested by manager.
  • Experience you need coming into this job :

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 + years related experience.
  • Strong computer skills as well as basic office machines.
  • Problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to work in a fast paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including telephone skills.
  • Strong math and grammar skills; ability to proofread and check various calculations.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, lift items, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Moderate noise (ie : computer printers, traffic) exists daily in the work environment. The employee may be required to stand for periods of up to one hour while collating mail or scanning documents. The employee is required to sit for extended periods of up to three hours at one time, while reaching with hands and arms (ex. working with a computer keyboard). The employee is occasionally required to communicate by talking and listening face-to- face and on the telephone. The employee is occasionally required to walk to all locations at the company facility to attend meetings and training sessions. The employee is occasionally required to lift items up to 20 lbs. and deliver them employees in many locations at the company facility.
